Customer Service/Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
Job Title: Customer Service/Logistics Representative Reports To: Materials Group Leader
Location: Rossford Float Department: Float Materials
Employees Supervised: 3
Primary Duties:
  • Adherence to the NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its‚ Values and Principles.
  • Adherence to the NSG/Pilkington Competition Compliance Policy
  • Adherence to the Key Safety Leadership Behaviors.
  • Coordinates the deliveries of goods to internal, external, domestic, and export customers.

  • Utilizes ‚ Logistical Partnership Agreements‚ and communicates with sister facilities / customers, to ensure proper documentation of shipments.

  • Consistently demonstrate a ‚ Customer First‚ mindset and approach when working with customers.
  • Work with the Sales team to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Work with hourly and salary teams on continuous improvement projects.
  • Operates in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Utilize SAP on daily shipments/reports and inventory.
  • Provide around the clock support for continuous operation
  • Assist dock coordinators when necessary
  • Review customer orders weekly to ensure they can be fulfilled.
  • Work with planning/scheduling on upcoming glass requirements.
  • Constant communication with customers to assist in resolving issues.
Qualifications Required:
  • BS/BBA or equivalent
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Excellent Problem Solving Skills
  • Strong transportation experience, international and domestic
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Ability to work independently. Strong Analytical Skills
  • Well developed interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
Qualifications Desired:
  • Experience with SAP
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Green or Black Belt Certification

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
