2K a year The Electro Prime Group, an established automotive parts processor in the e-coating and powder coating sector is looking for a Day shift, level one Manufacturing/Process Engineering Associate at our Rossford, OH plant.
This position is an entry level Engineering position that provides direct support of production processes working closely with the facility Engineer or Engineering Manager on the design, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes in a factory environment.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Engineering department to develop, implement and improve manufacturing processes, work cell design and layout, rack, fixture, work aid design, and methods development for continuous improvement.
Assist with developing standard process documents, SOPs, FMEAs, etc.
Analyze current methods, workflows, layouts and procedures to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.
Collect and/or analyze data to validate processes and noted improvement.
Requirements:
Lean Manufacturing experience a plus Familiarity with manufacturing processes and working with Engineers in a plant environment Strong communication and organizational skills -comfortable communicating across all levels of the company with occasional customer interaction Willingness to work hands-on in a factory setting Powder Coat or E-Coat experience a plus Strong math skills We offer a competitive salary with a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k with employer match, vacation, holiday and employer provided life insurance.
